It's simple. you can select of 10 free champions ingame, create a practice game (or start a normal game) and about 10 champions are pick able. This automatically rotates, it get's announced. Play a few weeks to see what heroes you like and start buying.

The free set is automatically unlocked in all accounts, if you want to keep a champion after his week you need to unlock it with IP (in-game currency, you get this from playing) of RP (real money)

so when does it gets rotated again? last time it was on 23 december i think...that's what it says in news announcements....and it's already january 6th....have they stoped the rotations?

This week's new free heroes are in, I see! Since no list is posted yet in the main post, I'll type one up based on what I see...

Gangplank
Morgana
Nasus
Ryze
Taric
Teemo
Tristana
Tryndamere

possibly Annie as well, not sure because I have her unlocked.

edit: Ah, nevermind.. there's a new thread up now; that's why the list wasn't posted yet.
