similar to pinging the map but a button to press to alert players of MIA instead of having to waste time typing it

I could do with enemy portraits than when clicked / alt-clicked / etc., MIA / ping / etc. that champ. Of course you shouldn't be able to MIA a champ if he is visiable to your team, or ping if he isn't.

I think it would be a pretty good idea it would help out a lot if you around in premades

this would be so helpful, sometimes i type mia but the person jumps out of the bush or charges at me and i end up stuck in chat...

well It should appear on your screen saying MIA similar to when someone gets a kill. I hate when I have to stop and write MIA shaco or whatever then I get jumped

preset macros would be easier

I honestly would think just an extra element on the HUD showing the icons of any player not present on the map would work. Something somewhere that would catch your attention though for sure.
