Since Locket is gone, and Tiger got a Huge buff. I am wondering if he changed at all, or is he still Omen/Veil (even though they both got nerfed)

Tiger didn't get a huge buff. iirc it got a nerf.

It didn't get a "HUGE" buff, they just changed it.

The way I play Udyr now is different, but not by much. Normally, I'd go with Locket/Omen and then even more defensive items, but because they nerfed the damage to Phoenix, I decided to try a different build.

Cloth armor + 5 health pots
Madreds Razor
Boots
Heart of Gold
Merc treads

After this, I aim for Madreds Bloodrazor. So right now, I have the following

Merc Treads
Madreds Bloodrazor
Heart of Gold

Depending on what they have, I will build accordingly. Normally, I'd go or something that has health so...depending on their setup, I'll aim for Banshee's Veil or Sunfire Cape.

Everything else after this is still situational in terms of tank items.


Sorry, but the only kind of Udyr I know that's worth having is the one who can stay in the fight the longest, interrupting everyone's ult and channeled stuff with the awesome BEAR RARAWRAWRAWR

riot thought they were buffing tiger, but they made some mistakes and nerfed it

Imo tiger got nerfed. The 300% of atk dmg Dot made that first hit killer, especially early game. It's basically just a built in triforce with some extra bonus dmg now, not really that special.

He is playing him right now...not doing too hot, Team won, he got carried IMO.

Anyway, it was a buff to the scaling and added a decent active.

Also Phoenix wasn't nerf'd the activate was, but the 4 attacks were buffed. It is balanced out pretty much, except you can spam Phoenix/Turtle for as much damage survivability.

Wow, Guardsman Bob lost 8 ranked games in a row. Talk about having either a bad setup or just bad team coordination.

He's still my favorite Udyr, but I like to follow my own setup
