If you look at it closer...you'll find that it's actually Jax...I think. I have a hard time understanding what is going on in the comic in the first place.

My guess:

Vlad sees he is about to be hit by falling magma.
Vlad pools.
Magma mixes into Vlad's pool.
Vlad now pools with magma for tons of damage.

And I'm pretty sure the second guy is Jax, since he has the dots on his head and is carrying a glowing stick (lamppost)

My original idea was so that Riot can make Magma fall down in the new map at about 40minutes mark so teamfights have more diversity because you are going to have to try and dodge the magma.
one thing lead to another and this is what happened.

Heres the explanation
Frame 1 = Vlad standing
Frame 2 = Lava falling
Frame 3= Vlad uses Sanguine pool
Frame 4 = Magma mixes in the pool
Frame 5 = All hell breaks loose.

The guy who is dieing is jax and the other guy is obviousl Tryndamere.
