Personally, I cannot stand that when I click on a news link from the PVP.Net launcher or main page, it always launches Internet Explorer. Is it possible to have the front end launch the default browser when clicking on a link instead of always launching IE? Some of us use other browsers such as Firefox or Safari as our default browser.

Thanks =)

Indeed. Don't get me wrong, IE8 is great and... okay so it isn't. But i would have thought that you would look up the system's default browser and launch that instead. I mean... it shouldn't be too hard to pass a url to other browsers instead of IE8 would it?

I think that the issue is that the PVP.net client is using the IE engine to display pages. That, or someone did some really bad coding because the Windows API call to open a link in a browser goes to whatever your default browser is.
