they are skins, not clothes. His aura does not affect skin.

Why don't champions who buy sunfire capes turn insta-nude?
Same reason being really angry can make you invulnerable for a short period.
Same reason a spinning baton can produce a massive laser.
Same reason a rat can go invisible and shoot you with a crossbow.
