Sona is ionian? I thought she was from demacia.

Edit: Nevermind, she was found in an Ionian adoption house.

He was a huge supporter of Ionian freedom from noxus during the big Ionia/Noxus rematch (Linked below). In fact he actually helped to start the movement for one when he set himself on fire in protest. So actually no, he is hugely aligned with Ionia, and its probably safe to assume he was born there as well.

Varus is also from a village belonging to the Ionia is says so in his back story that he guarded an Ionia temple from noxus invaders but lost his village becuase he prided him self to his duty guarding the temple but sought with rage he used the dreaded power in the temple to give him strength to seek revenge on the noxus invaders and in so doing shortening his lifespan.
