Like i never have a problem calling bot lane bot but sometimes after we've pushed a tower top lane I just can't seem to call it top lane anymore and end up making the mistake of calling it bot. Anyone else have this?

No, but I have seen other people do so, which made me wonder why they were playing the game since they came across as heavily disoriented. None of them were, thankfully. But no, try to remember that top lane is top (because Baron is near there) and bot lane (because Dragon is near there) is bot.
