So, I've been noticing more and more people seem to have ap runes over magic pen, I'm trying to get into casters, i've always played dps or tanks. Which casters benefit most from ap runes?

Supports and Akali. (Akali gets AP blues instead of reds)

akali, soraka, heimer, taric, characters who need it for other things than damage mainly

i currently use a full rune set of AP per level. giving a max of 85 at lvl 18 and starts me out with 21 if i buy a dorans ring
