I prefer the current one. I can make it small and out of the way.

actually all the files are still there you just need to figure out how to map all the buttons to the old ui images. they are all named HUD2_I#.dds unfortunately i dont know enough about editing the ini and gfx files to be able to use them. you could rename the dds files but the buttons/icons wouldn't match up right.

if you rename HUD2.gfx to HudCenter.gfx and you you change the x value of the variables [PlayerHudCenter] and [PlayerHud] in hudresolutiondefaults.ini you get something that looks like the beta ui but all your stats wont update, you have to ctrl+(qwer) to upgrade skills, items dont display, and it always displays your gold as 1024.
when you update the ini file you want to set hudcenter to 0 and playerhud to -80(just to make sure its off screen, you could move it up/down/or to the right if you want stats, xp, items, and gold)
if you name it to HudLeft.gfx you can click your portrait, gold and items update correctly, but you cant click any other buttons, hp/mp doesnt update, and stats still dont update.

as a reminder it is possible to break the game and you may have to reinstall after a patch so backup your files before you do anything.
