Addendum: The crashes are no longer occurring but there is no sound. Could you (Riot) divulge that a hotfix is underway? I can't imagine waiting two weeks for a fix to hear the game.

First time posting, also wanted to make mention that I crashed each time I tried to join with the headset plugged in. I own a Logitech G35 headset and unplugging it let me in, but I had no sound upon replugging them.

When I figured it out, it was too late to make up for my not being there... x( hope this issue is resolved soon

I am not using a USB headset but I still have the same problem with my 1/8” / 3.5 mm plug Sennheiser PC350.
