Most of my games have been stomp or be stomped, except yesterday I had a 1:20 game. We fell behind early, but we made a huge comeback and finally took it.

Really? Last few patches made games extremely long. Even if you are getting stomped, you can turtle for 45 minutes.

I blame blind pick in normal mode. Either you have the better composition or you don't and that decides the match.

Agreed. Riot should look into match making system more.

You know what's funny, two weeks ago people were whining that every game is a stomp.
Sounds like people just want something to cry about.

To make games faster they made games snowball harder. I don't think that was the way to go.

I analyzed 195 games since the patch using lolbase data and the average game length is 36 minutes.

You probably either (a) got unlucky/lucky and got a bunch of stomps with people who surrender early, or (b) have bias because it's easier to remember the quick games where you were really stomped or really stomped the other team rather than the average ones.

Maybe there's other reasons, but honestly you can't argue with hard data.
