From what I'm getting, if it's 2 people in a lane(OR X people in a lane) they get more experience than before?

Yes, I believe that is right. They increased experience gains for everyone that isn't solo laning or jungling.

basically, it means a solo lane won't get as far ahead of a dual lane. If multiple people gain experience from any one source, the total amount is slightly higher than the amount than would be given if only one source gained experience

It means 2 people in lane get more experience per kill then 1 is getting alone. This does not mean they will level faster. A single player will still level faster. What this does mean though is that having a jungler is slightly less advantageous then it was before. Basically if you have a weak or slow jungler you are likely at a slight experience disadvantage or it is equalized and having the weak jungler is no advantage except for surprise attacks.

This buff is supposed to bring jungling back to a situational strat, and will probably work too.

They're going to have to do better than this. Not having a jungler also vastly increases their jungler's incoming experience and gold because he has both jungles to nomnom. Having a jungler is also good for gank potential.

A couple points though--

Often the solo laner counts on those extra levels to keep from being zoned out early.

A jungler often counts on the extra levels of a solo laner and himself to secure a kill in a 1v2 lane.

You can keep a jungler off your buffs by warding, and a jungler that takes the time to clear both jungles constant has much less time to gank


Since the change is going to increase how fast duo lanes level in respect to solos and a jungler, you can grab a champ with tele to roam for a dedicated ganker.
