Vladimir is easy to keep at high health while harrassing. And has a "get out of gank for free" spell.

Haven't tried it since his nerfs, but my Renekton mid wasn't too bad. AoE heal, good gap closer, and nice stun, I could usually get a kill at level 4 if I'd been hitting them, or level 5 for the extra heal/damage on Cull the Meek.

Surprisingly, WW is a very good mid.

A well played Kat or Akali can really be tough in Mid.

Urgot and Ryze best mids in the game. Kat is around third best without the proper CC to deal with her. MidWick is also pretty intense because of his ability to dish out damage and just heal back up.
