On the sign in screen, where you enter user-name and password, there really should be an option to have the client remember your name and password. Having to type it in every time is a bit of a bother, and I can't think of any reason why not to have this (again, at least available as an option for those of us who don't share computers).

In addition, after starting the client, it should load directly into this screen, instead of requiring you to click "Play" first.
