Why do people like corki more than ezreal?

Corki is aoe damage. Ezreal is single-target damage. This is why Ezreal falls off late-game and Corki wins late-game. Ezreal is still one of the strongest AD carry early game.

IF I had to base it solely on playstyle. Ez is all Skill Shots, every single spell he has is a Skill Shot. Some people just don't want to aim a Skill Shot.

I personally like Ezreal better, but takes more finesse. I do well with both but I suppose corki brings more to the team.
