Everything in Valoran has its own lore or affiliated champions, but I can't find anything about Kaladoun. It's just this large area above Demacia on the maps. Is it supposed to be part of Demacia or what? Does anybody know?

I believe (though I'm probably wrong) that Kaladoun is also known as Kalamanda. I can't see a Kalamanda on the map, but it was in the lore regarding the mine and the collapse scandal and the tension between Noxus and Demacia.

And apparantly they're famous for their sugar raisins.

Thanks guys. Its not clear where Kalamanda is, but it looks like it's a small town, possibly in the Kaladoun area. It just seems weird to have such large stretch of land near all the other city states that doesn't have any sort of government.

It sounds similar to Caledonia though, If you look at Woad Ashe and Highland Tryndamere, those are skins based off of pre-scottish Scotland inhabited by barbarian pictish tribes, where i think Romans called in Caledonia,

For LoL , it might possibly be some future city state, nation or something like that possibly based off of pre-scottish scotland. What we do know is that its adajacent to the serpentine, river, the river where the real legendary creature named Baron Nashor Lives. In Summoners Rift, the Baron there is just a prop or replica of the mythical creature.

It's probably a region that Freljord may be a part of, inhabited by nomadic tribes. If you read Freljord's lore, Demacia's bigger enemy than Noxus were various tribes from Kaladoun that skirmished it's northern frontier. To the present time, Demacia puts their vengeance for Kaladounians on Freljord, and Freljord sent a Kaladounian diplomat to Noxus (likely from Serptine river), who turned Cass into a snake.

Kalamanda is located North to Morgon Pass.and I do not believe that Demacia or Freljord own Kaladoun. However, judging by how close Bubbling Bog and Freljord are to Kaladoun, we can assume that the woodland skins for champions like Ashe might indicate a climate that is warmer due to woodland or plains.
