Salad is a pretty ambiguous description of food.

There are salad's that are very healthy for you.. and some that are down right awful for your health.

Salad of leafy greens, some veggies, maybe a healthy portion of some kind of nuts in a light vinaigrette? Pretty healthy.

Iceberg lettuce covered in cheese, bacon bits, and 8oz of ranch dressing? yeah no.

^ still delicious tho.

That sounds more like a "engrish" (meaning, chinese translated to english by chinese people).

Nobody calls sushi that way, unless it is a failed attempt to say its name in a different language.

Still, I never seen anyone calling sushi to any other thing than "sushi"

Maybe referring to it as "raw fish", but that just to specify what is in it.
