Say the trash talking starts so you decide to feed to cost your team the game.
If your team looses your Win / loss ratio drops and the chances for bad matchmaking increases every time.

There are other options than treating trolls in kind.

If a person verbally trolls you, you simply put them on ignore.

Feeding to prove what you think is a point, is never a good option. Purposefully feeding the enemy team, ruins games more effectively than any verbal troll ever can.

Again, put people on ignore, and report them after the game. Let the Tribunal sort it out.
