I sorta understand the on-hit thing, but can someone explain it in detail? (applies on-hit effects)

On-hit effects are any effects that would normally apply to an auto-attack when it hits (not dodged). This can be anything from the slow effect of Lizard Buff, or an item effect such as Frozen Hammer's slow. Some champions also have abilities that apply "on-hit".
