Does anyone get banned for this?

I've had people report me for this when I've /ignored all just to try and prevent conflict. I pinged to communicate and still said stuff in chat indicating what imo were the best plays. But they still reported me. Would be exceedingly ridiculous if I got a ban for using a function of the game.

i never had hit the punish button for that, and cases with that complaint are rare.

Why on earth is it a bannable offense at all? What if someone isn't an English speaker (or whatever language the majority of players in game are using?)

Yeah, they could ping I guess... but uh... That's it.
