His damage output is sub par compared to noctun, irela, he needs a small buff, nothing huge. I think manna should be less costly for alpha strike, and base attack boosted just a bit.

His damage is fine if not too high ... if he were to get any buffs it'd be to make him less mana hungry early game...

haha he needs no damage buff (or any buff for that matter). His E is a passive damage buff.

Their does seem to be a bit more favoritism towards Noc considering he has life steal, fear, and ult that gives him the ability to teleport to far places, but Yi does have a double attack and an ability to not be slowed which makes him an excellent chaser.

lol yi is considerately powerfull for 450 IP lmao he can carry like holy mofo, he can jungle super effectively, his ult is awesome for a champs like him, he will cut people down withouth stopping.

Yi has some of the highest raw damage output in the game. Definitely higher than the two you mentioned. He's well balanced for an easy-to-play character.
