Looking at your recent history it looks like you tend to lean more towards "up in your face" attack type characters. I personally love my Sona, but for you i think Taric is a great option. Stuns, heals, tank, damage, and he is just truly outrageous... truly truly outrageous!

People underestimate Taric's ultimate, it's another amazing aura to help with tower pushes if you have an AD carry, and if you don't, it doesn't matter, the champion you're supporting will still dish out a lot more damage, therefore, speeding the process of taking that tower.

Sona is too squishy in my opinion, but is still a good support addition.

I personally like Taric better - if your team is AD heavy, Taric is surely better with his Armor reduction and bonus AD ulti.
