1,2k hp on a melee without cc-reduction skills, without spellblock, without ANY protection....at that time annie deals about 1,3-1,5k dmg burst...guess i don't really have to tell u that that wont work out too well ^^ it's pretty much the same as with yi and tryn, both maybe viable against nabs but too easily counterd elo 1,5k and above.
You miss the most important point here. That 2k along with some cdr translates into non stop lifesteal, speed and slow.
Yorick needs to spam his stuff in order to survive and to stay close to targets, running out of mana as Yorick is about as fatal as it is for a caster. Also once you start building tanky stuff, manamune will provide free damage from banshees and Glacial Shroud.
From the last couple games i played, all i can say is that Yorick feels extremely strong right now. He has Sustainability combined with a ranged harass, quite a lot of free damage and an ultimate that can be used in over 9000 different ways.
