I'll tell you what happened to bump shaco up his list: he started playing with reginald who loves shaco, and so he moved him up cause reginald is good with shaco.

He's not tier 1, I don't think. Probably tier 2. Definitely not worth banning. I would ban Shen, Soraka, Kayle, Taric, Heimer, Xin Zhao and Ezreal all before I would dream of banning Shaco.

Also, Xin Zhao is either banned or picked first in EVERY game. He's broken good. No way he's tier 2 right now. Maybe next week after he gets nerfed, but not now.


Which brings up a good point: this game gets rebalanced every week or two. There's no way to keep up with all the changes well enough to keep a tier list super accurate. The masses will always know better than the 1 expert trying to keep up.

I was looking at some of the EU lists, and I don't understand why they always have Kassadin as top tier or tier 2...He seems HORRIBLE (or, at best, highly situational).

I haven't played him since the patch though...Has he gotten that much better or are they way off? Or do they have such a radically different metagame?

No. I've thought he was broken for quite some time now. I just didn't update my list for a month or so.

I'd take Rammus over Alistar now and Zil should be higher on tier 2 I think.

You're saying you get away with leaving Kayle legal? I ban her almost every game, unless my team is freaking out about Heimer in vent or something.

The way I see it, Xin is an auto-ban. If I have first ban, I ban Kayle, so that if the other team thinks they can get Xin first pick and leaves him legal, I ban him last. That leaves Heimer available for first pick, so it's a little rough. If they ban Xin in the middle, I'll ban Heimer last. If they ban both Xin and Heimer in the middle, which I've seen a bunch of times, I'll usually ban Soraka or Taric, depending on who's picking 2nd with me and which of those two champs they want to play, if either.

All of this is based on the fact that I don't have access to Xin and I don't really want to play Heimer.

Anyways, I'm shocked that people don't ban Kayle more in your games, Elementz. She's obviously top tier, and a game changer.

The reason I don't ban Shaco ever is because there are lots of carries to replace him with if he isn't used, so I'm not really hurting the other team that much by removing him. But there's only one Soraka, you know? There's only one heimer. There's only one Shen. You can't replace those characters with someone just like them. Shaco is more versatile than his replacements, but they out DPS him so it's a tradeoff that's not too hard to handle.

I really never see Kayle, I guess that's just me... And when I do she's usually not very good. Again, probably just me.

Nidalee and Alistar are so out of place in this one. They should be like down bottom since Nidalee has her broken cougar form running now that does bonus damage but no initial damage. Alistar is just too slow and doesn't even have farming capabillities at all. Oh yeah and he has to rely on Summoner spells and his new Unbreakable Will is rumored to be just like cleanse now or even worse.

She protects the team with W and R, ganks/nukes with Q and slaughters with E, do I have it right?

I mean the player. She never poses a problem to my team. I used to play her and can see how she does, but she has to be played right to be effective.

No, I was asking if that was how she's supposed to be played for max effectiveness. Early support, later start nuking/killing.
