So Tank/Support/AD Range all have pretty clear winners:
Tank - Amumu/Alistar
Supoort - Janna/Sona
AD Range - Ashe

But seems like alot of debate over which are the top AP champs. The clear leaders are Ori, Brand, Annie, Anivia which all have their +/-'s to various team comps/counter picks, but on average who is top??

I personally like Brand. Been playing him since release day. Annie gets banned in 90% of the games I play, so she is never a problem.

Sure he's short range, but any game I can farm, I can control.

I'd have to say Orianna if Annie isn't banned. Orianna brings a solid amount of utility to the team for an ap caster and all her AoE abilities can really shred through a team if placed correctly.

Orianna.

Mainly because of her mobility.

Keep in mind this is just a summary of Orianna's capabilities.

A good Orianna can move while casting (can dodge while dealing AoE damage), support a team, provide an escape in case of loss, and control the enemy team to an extent.

Orianna is one of the few champions closely tied to skill and as such has my vote for the best AP champion as of yet.

um.... veigar is nice. was my first champ ever, until i started playing morde. As in tank alistar/amumu is nice but um what about jarvin, garen? they are really nice too.
