you guys should try again in maybe 6 hours.... by that time scheaduled maintenance would be over... and the servers should be up again......

I want an official answer from Riot ppls.

If we get the above error (it says all updates complete althoguh we have version 1.0.0.33) must we reinstall or do we just have to wait

Right now, instead of deleting everything, reinstalling and praying that I won't have the same problem again, I could've just used a manual patch and installed it...

I can think of 7 different big game companies that do that right now.
Think about that Riot.

EDIT: reinstalled and nothing.

same problem here i even tried to put a wrong nickname and pass and it says connection failure unable to connect to pvp.net server

Enabling TLS and checking the time on your computer's clock is really important.

Can some of you ping beta.lol.riotgames.com using a command line? The request will probably time out, but I want to see if the URL resolves to the correct IP.

BTW i was playng just fine and i had no problems before today :S

and i tested my connection and there was nothing wrong with it and here is the result :

and i tried all the solutions proposed in knowledge base and still nothing im just gonna re-download the game client and uninstall and reinstall hoping for a resolution

Its an error with the launcher not saying its offline when it really is. If you look at the server status, you would see that they are updated.

I have the same problem - it has to be the patcher because I've yet to download it.

oh yeah Scheduled Maintenance (7/27/2010) 1AM-11AM PDT (GMT -7) and now its 5:20 AM so as you said its the launcher problem showing that the server is online while its not thanks for the info i just though that the maintenance is finished while its not yet
