Hey guys, I saw someone's thread named, "My Ashe Build is terrible." What is that?

A "build" generally refers to the items you buy for your character (and what order you get them in). Often times, you'll also see a "skill order" mentioned, which is just that - the order in which they level their skills.

For example, a build for Lux might start:

Doran's Ring -> Sorceror's Boots/Ionian Boots -> Tear of the Goddess, then diverges from there.

With a skill order of:

Q E W E W R E W E W R E W Q Q R Q Q

Rather than a long string of letters, a lot of people will shorten it to the first few levels, usually three-five (Q E W), then the priority (R > E > W > Q).
