same i have tried everything from what the wrenchman said to do but nothing seems to work... i get the patcher up fine but then i press play AND... nothing the login screen doesn't even come up. I wondering if its cause im using windows 7 but that cant be cause the game worked fine till the lastest patch

Delete:
- everything inside C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\downloads
- lol_air_client and lol_air_client_config_na inside C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects
- everything inside C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions

After deleting ,restart your computer. When restarted, run League of Legends in Administrator Mode.

I'd like to report that iLaggsometimez's fix WORKED.

Once you do his fix, the patcher will repatch the missing files but don't worry - you will now be able to log in!

because it says access to folder DENIED. I am on my windows as the administrator. It says I may need permission from the administrator. Anyone know how to fix this? O.o

bumping for others too - just saw someone with the same prob.

I had teh same error the previous day, a simple reset of my internet modem (shutdown for 5 mins) made my IP change, after which connection went perfectly.

It can happen sometimes that the "handshake" in between 2 IP addresses just doesnt happen, in that case the it times out... in simple words, it's like if a PING was sent to the launcher server, and the PONG was not sent back.

After it re-patches, just make sure you run as Admin.
