You get Sheen on Poppy. Like, 99.always% of the time. With Frozen Fist now here, it's a way to keep enemies slowed (along with people who may be peeling for the APC / ADC you're focusing) and gives some hefty armor with a bit of CDR. Trinity gives more 'sheen' damage, with phage + zeal (AD / HP / MS / AS), but no armor and a weaker, single target slow that doesn't always proc. Which of these is better on Poppy? When would you get either? This is for AD Poppy of course, Lich Bane for AP seems a lot smarter.

Trinity Force. It gives more movespeed, more sustained damage, and most single-target burst. The attack speed and crit chance work well with her AD steroid on W.

If you need a slow, get a cutlass instead.

Poppy needs as much damage as she can get, so Trinity Force.

Poppy is one of the few champions that I would go with the Trinity force option on. But that is just me.

Poppy doesn't need much defense because her ult allows her to render 4 out of 5 enemies useless against her.


However, if your team needs the CC, then Iceborn Gauntlet isn't a bad choice.
The AoE slow is pretty awesome.

TF in 99.9% of games.

Philo stone, boots 1 and sheen are always going to be rushed on her...the build your mallet and TF and from there get whatever you need.

well, considering the enemy team is in for a fisting, IBG seems like the appropriate choice.

however, TF is superior on her. she needs damages

Use iceborn as a crutch, it's not a bad choice

but TF is for when you mean business.
