I would like to see the result of this, just to know if there was a hacker or not. Right now it sounds like a skilled Master Yi was devastating a game. I have seen plenty of players able to stack so much crit and damage that no single player on the opposing team could take them down, or that they could back door quickly. And like someone before me said, you clicking on him and not seeing his buffs means nothing. There are plenty of times I will kill Lizard King without the buff showing, and though I have yet to test consumables it would be conceivable that in a BETA the buff system malfunctions from time to time. The easiest way to check is to ASK the other player (press shift+enter to talk to the opponents), and usually players will accommodate you with an explanation. I am unaware of all procs and abilities, so when something out of the ordinary happens a simple question to the other team will resolve my questions.

Again, you may be correct, but I don't see why he wouldn't just give himself the ability to one-shot everything if he could hack. He is already making the game less fun, why not go all the way?

You're right about this. But ask yourself this: howcome warcraft 3 only has tiehack and not instawin hack? As far as I know, there are limits to as far how you can go. I can imagine they limited the amount of damage that 1 hit can do just for this reason. I'm currently studying IT myself (nothing special, just had my first year at university) and we have been learning to look after those types of things.
I'm not making computergames, but other real life applications which could be used in businesses. I'm currently only using this to supress errors from showing up onto the screen, but I can imagine a more complex of what I use has this effect.
It would seriously suck for me though if it was something as stupid as not showing buffs, but I'm still wondering at that point how he could get mass heal from meditation and still have Wuju Style up so high if he went level 5 alpha strike as soon as possible.
Anyway I'm dying to see the result of this too. You mentioned the fact a well skilled Master Yi can destroy a game by backdooring. However, I usually don't see a Master Yi pulling up a 600 crit at level 13. usually, I don't even make that point at level 13. If I can get 600 crits at level 13, I'm usually not on a 3-1 score.

by the way, thanks for the talk to all hint, but I already knew this as Warcraft 3 uses the exact same system to let teams communicate. And yes, I asked him how he got that damage, yet he didn't answer me besides with
By the way, sorry if I was disrespectful to sky in my previous statement, but I'm not going to change it. It shows clearly on how I feel about people that don't read through a thread and still think the OP is a noob. As I've stated before, I have played Master Yi a lot already. I learned my friend on how to play with him and we sometimes go Yi on Yi in practice games. Doing something like that teaches you a lot, since you meet a lot of different strategies that way.

The one problem I have with this response is that what sky said took into account that all you saw was the double strike buff. He clearly said that it was possible without having the added 65% crit damage from runes and masteries that he was able to attain a similar damage. He also said in a way that did appear vague that buffs can glitch and not be visible to other plays and even the person the buff is on.

I'm just saying this to clear some mis-information that seems apparent to me that's all not to start up an argument which isn't an argument but rather a mis-understanding.

At level 12, with Wuju Style activated, I was able to hit 600+ criticals. I was able to farm the infinity blade within 20 minutes at 60 or so minion kills.

EDIT: The forums shrunk my picture.

Thanks for testing it our for me, yet you forgot 1 thing: I saw him use meditation at a high level (with this I mean he recovered more than 1000 hp at level 13). Yes, I know howmuch damage a Yi can do and I usually go Wuju Style and Alpha Strike first, but against another Master Yi, we both thought alike and both went Meditation instead of Alpha Strike. This is the entire exact reason why I came to these forums, I've tested Master Yi extensively myself and I know you can get 600 crits at 13 with just Wuju Style, that rune setup and Infinity Edge.
I'm still hoping to get the results from the devs though. If it was somehow possible to get 600 crits without Wuju Style, I'm dying to know it.

EDIT: forgot to mention you didn't have his 300 attackdamage, but you didn't have boots, which give a nice amount as well.

Not to discount what you saw, but it is extremely unlikely that someone "hacked" their game to produce these results.

All of the champion stats are stored and calculated only on the server, and the client cannot change them. The client is essentially a dumb terminal that only receives the numbers from the server.

We'll definitely look into it, as this is a very serious thing for us, but there is probably another explanation.

Onno but I was able to pull off 550+damage crits with Yi at lvl 11 a few hours ago with only having attack damage runes on and Infinity Edge. It still seems pretty far fetched that someone was hacking.

Oh yeah and this was without activating wuju.
