Black terrain fix? Please help!

Ok, so I am having the black terrain problem. I can see teammates, enemy champs, minions, towers, etc but everything else is pitch black. No walls, grass, nothing. I've messed with anti-aliasing and all other video related settings, turned fast terrain on and off, restarted my comp, completely uninstalled/reinstalled the game, tried repairing. NOTHING has worked. Neither of the Summoners Rift maps work, but the Treeline map loads just fine. My concerns were greatly deepened when I search for this issue in the forums and other players have been having this same problem for over 5 months now, and it apparently STILL isn't fixed.....has anyone tried anything else and had success?

It hasn't been "fixed" due to it being completely client side. You need to make sure you meet all recommended system requirements and going to your graphic cards manufacturer and downloading the latest drivers.

A friend of mine had an issue when hes on purple team. Can't see bushes. Haha. He updated and it fixed.


Give it a shot. if not post back.

This is definitely something you should take out a support ticket on if none of the options work.

But in the meantime, you can try updating your Adobe Air, your drivers, check to make sure your computer still meets the LoL mininum requirements, and make sure your computer is up to date on updates as well.

Yeah I've done all that too. My computer exceeds the game requirements (I've been playing for well over a year with no problems till now), all drivers have been updated, Adobe Air and all that. Still nothing is working....

Then take out a support ticket. It's likely just a bad reaction of something Riot side with something in your computer that others share. But I'm out of ideas on the issue. Sorry.

Hmmm that is indeed weird....http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/...d.php?t=742045

He repaired and it worked...hmm. Try setting your settings to what they were before, and repair again? Other then that Im not sure I can find someone else who fixed it any other way! =(


EDIT: gentleman said by letting the nivida control panel and windows "let the application decide" worked for him.

Ok, well I ran repair again (for what was probably the 5th time since I've had this problem) and apparently it worked this time. Thanks for the help guys.
