I've found that Boots1 works much better. You get an extra pot, the ability to dodge 300-500% more skillshots than without Boots1, and much better zoning capability with the ability to chase and run away from your opponent (unless they also went Boots1; then you're just countering their speed advantage). I never open with anything else anymore.
