This is just a discussion about the current report system.

Mainly in speaking a discussion about the Negative Attitude

report. You could imply the following discussion also with

the verbal abuse report.

(Note there are defiantly cases that I have not mentioned

throughout this thread. This does not account for those cases

and applies only to a section of what actually happens. If

you have a idea or a thought to go against this idea then

please post it and we will discuss your views.)

Why do we have a negative Attitude report? This is my main

question that I have for RIOT. I have been reported for this

like so many of us before. It comes to say that it is

acquired when; by riots definition,: Negative Attitude – Any

Summoner that is constantly putting other Summoners down or

being generally negative about the game. This brings to mind

a lot of questions about this report. Other then being a fast

resort to spam reports on a player when your mad, does it

have value? In previous statements RIOT has told us that we

(The reported players) should just ignore our team in the

future if disputes come to be. Well why do we have to ignore

our team? That sounds like: Refusing to Communicate with Team

– Applies to any Summoner that won’t participate in team

fights and refuses to use chat or pings Also if RIOT is

telling us to ignore people that are raging us then why is

this not applied to the person raging? If that person is

truly is having a bad enough time that he has to report

someone for having a negative attitude then why can he not

ignore them? RIOT what gives you the right to define what are

chat entitles? Are you basing your judgement on the other

players idea on chat? This game is very diverse in background

cultures. Some DotA players see chat differently then say a

new community player. Some see caps lock to be yelling while

others do not. Some see commanding their team to victory to

be one of the most fun aspects of this game. Yet you yell us

that we should not do that also. This report in general is

not applicable anymore and seems like a oxymoron. We are

given the option to view chat or not and it is a two way

road.
