yeah but playing professionally includes.. well, you know.. PLAYING PROFESSIONALLY. I'm kinda getting the feeling that PL felt like his spot was secured in v8 because he was managing it, but in the end, it's about playing the **** game. If his performance was affecting the team negatively since champion selection, well ****, they had to do something about it. I does sound that things could've been handed a little better, but emotions were running high and everyone was in a rush because of the tournaments. It's not like the team didn't try to do something about it beforehand. And I'm with Tree on this one not because I like him, but because I could smell PL blatantly trying to make himself look like a victim today in SotL from a mile away. I just can't believe so many people bought it right away without hearing the other side of the story when it was obvious to me.

Well this just sounds like a major mishandling of the situation by both sides. I wish v8 the best of luck in the future but you guys really dropped the ball in both game play and communication here.

How much can they tell him if he didnt care to listen. didnt want to get better and didnt want to practice.

And would it really kill him to not go to 1 tourney if it made the team better?

Actually, I remember watching tree's stream one night, and Phantom was playing as Annie. He was surprisingly bad with her - he kept missing Tibbers, and at one point flashed over a wall into the enemy team and was insta-killed.

Tree tried to explain to Phantom that this isn't how you played Annie, and Phantom responded by trying to blame other people on the team or just insist that what he did was fine. At one point Tree even said "PHANTOM, you can't even see your own mistakes!"

Not surprising that it culminated in this. : (

If people are going by what this person has said, how could you possibly side with PL? He was clearly in the wrong, and on top of that he chose his own personal greed and laziness over helping the team win. IF someone won't learn a new champion for the team then that person doesn't belong on the team. There are no ifs, ands, or buts. There is a reason why we call a group of people a team and not some random group of people, it's because they work together to promote the success of each other and the team as a whole.

TL;DR/QED: PL did not deserve a place on the team.
