[Platform] Can't launch client

I got the launcher to run and patch, but when i hit Play nothing happens. The launcher disappears like usual but the client doesn't appear. Launcher still running under processes.

Also no apparent application running in task manager

EDIT: Regular client works fine, was not running when I tried to launch the PBE client. Admin launcher does not launch the client either.

EDIT: NOW WORKS! following Staticspark's instructions:

I participated in the first opening of the PBE, so I don't understand why this is happening. Every time I try to open the PBE client, I get the small splash image, and then it crashes about 15-20 seconds later. I haven't succeeded in even getting to the patch/launch window. My main client works fine, but this one keeps crashing.

Do you have your regular client open before launching this? (Check your process list) Did you try running the admin version of the launcher?

Can't spectate too, keep crashing (after the 3 minutes delay, it just crash)

I'm having similar issues I cannot join the PBE. I had live open before launching PBE. I closed live before running PBE. I have tried running both .exe files provided.

Same here. I haven't played the regular LoL client since last night, and I've restarted since then. I've ended the PvP.net tree in task manager, and it's still not going. Tried both .exe files in the beta download.

I'm running Win7 64, and I still have plenty of machine to run League.

Can you try reinstalling the client? You can download it here: http://pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/signup/redownload

Place it in a new folder and run the launcher.

I'll redownload, but I can't get back with results since I'll be busy until after PBE is over.

Trying that now. Hopefully the servers will still be up when I get done. >.<
