I've seen long threads in multiple forums asking for ranked Dominion but there never seems to be any answer at all from Riot as to what, if anything, they're going to do for Dominion despite their very old road map. If Dominion had ranked play it may entice more people to play and get good at it as there would finally be a reward for doing so.

Should we make an online petition asking for more Dominion support from Riot?

Riot has answered as to why there's no ranked dominion. The answer is that the mode isn't popular enough and they don't want to split the player base.

Also, they are currently starting to work on map-specific balancing. We haven't seen the results yet, but right now they are doing work to support dominion.

still, there seems to be a difference of opinion on ranked play; Dominion community says playerbase would be expanded and enhanced by ranked, Riot says Dominion community would be split by ranked. I think a petition like that might be good in showing how many people are actually dedicated to Dominion, especially now that we have a seventh pvp solo matchmade queue.

I don't care if it is split, I'd rather wait 20 minutes for a ranked dominion game than have to play SR for a ranking.

That said, I'd be very disappointed if CS got the TT treatment and doesn't come out with a solo Q.
