I'm collecting IP for a rune page, how does this sound for AP? Already finished my AD page



-Greater Mark of Insight x9 410 IP each---+0.95 MPen
-Greater Seal of Replenishment x9 205 IP each---+0.41 Mana Regen/5
-Greater Glyph of Insight x6 410 IP Each--- +0.57 Magic Pen
-Greater Glyph of Potency x3 410IP Each--- +0.99 AP
-Greater Quintessence of Fortitude x3 2025--- +26 Health

Will be used for Anivia, Brand, Veigar, and Leblanc, Gragas, and Kassadin when I get them.


I'm shaky on the Quints.. Too much. Help, anybody?

Marks are good.
Get Mana Regen per level seals instead.They balance off with the flat quickly.
Get Ability Power per level Glyphs.
And for Quints get Flat AP.Magic Pen Quints are only useful on Brand(for his passive).

If you're still leveling and learning to play, here's a set-up that will work on EVERY single caster (AP, supports, even some physical casters like Urgot):

Magic Pen Marks
Mana Regen/level Seals
CDR (flat are better, scaling are cheaper) Glyphs
Health Quints

If you're still figuring out which champions you like, the bonus of this rune page is that most of the runes will work on literally just about everyone (even AD champs can benefit from health, CDR, and mana).

If you're pretty confident that you want to play AP, then you should use this set-up instead- it's more specialized for AP mages:

Magic Pen marks
Mana Regen/level or AP/level Seals
AP/level Glyphs
Flat AP Quints

This'll have you doing tons of damage, but the lack of mana regen and health means it'll punish your mistakes in lane harder.
