So been playing LoL since the release of riven on and off ive hit lvl 16 and ive only done 2 pvp matches the rest being bots. Now in these pvp matches i generally do bad on all fronts (positioning, last hitting, and awareness). I've done a ton of reading on this game and non of it really seems to help me as i still get steam rolled. Also on a lesser note i still cant find a champion that works for me. So if anyone would maybe point me in the right direction or anything that would very helpful.

Been also having a tough time jumping into pvp matches as people are just terrible to noobs sometimes (me being one of them)....

Well since the GENERAL guides that are sitting out there, then you most likely need some 1 on 1 help, or some more personal help. Meaning your going to have to give us a bit more specifics like the following.

-What do you want in a champion?
-Do you care what kind of map mode you play?
-Have you tried all 3 map modes?
-If your playing SR, what lane do you usually get stuck in?

But in terms of awareness, you need to get a habit of looking the a minimap, and being able to count how many champions are in play when you look at the mini map. At first just worry about enemies, but if your a support or jungler. Then last hitting, pay attention to how much YOUR champion does in a hit, give away like 1 wave worth of a minion wave just to test it out and to get a hang of it, each champion does a different mount of damage, don't get preoccupied with numbers, concentrate on how much of the bar your guy hits for.

If you want to get better at the game stop playing coop vs ai games all together except when trying out a new champion or an experimental build.

players at your level that have gotten their experience from pvp games will generally do much better than you, which means you wont do as well. So you have alot of catching up to do. ... sorry to sound so harsh

well just after i posted this thread i played a game with Graves and i really like his style going to buy him when i get enough ip

so far ive only played summoners realm and im usually stuck with the lane no one wants

not having tried the other game modes i honestly cant say but they seem alright from what i can tell so i dont care, but with SR being the most popular one id like to stick to that.

(also are there any other champions that play like Graves?)

I'll assume you like getting into peoples face's and going BOOM **** load of damage. Then I would recommend Jax, Lee Sin, maybe Wukong.

These three heroes are melee burst bascially, you get in their faces, do a bunch of damage, with a little bit of auto attack supplementation. I'll also assume you don't love graves because he can auto attack lots, but if that is the case do tell. Someone whom may differ a little from your tastes is Vladimir.

He's a mage, but can build a good amount of health, allowing for a burst damage person, that has the option of getting into someone's face. Also, once you kind of get out of you champion hopping stages, and have established who you wanna get better with, just keep playing that one guy for like 5 -10 games in a row (not in a single day lol). Anything you DON'T smooth out after that series of games, would then we probably what you want to consult other people about.

well i've bought Jax and played wukong a bit during his free week i still dont get the same vibe that i get when i play graves. I personally dont care to much about the amount of damage a champion can dish out as long as they can get the job done.

ill give vlad a try just been hesitant after reading a lot of posts on how hes very up.
