This is an amazing game. I talk about it to all my friends. I literally play it during all of my free time! However, in the last week, there has been simply unbearable lag. I mean, even standing next to minions would freeze my screen. Don't even think about team fights--freeze, die, get yelled at by team. Often people haven't been getting the lag as badly as I have, but recently some people were complaining about exactly the same thing. Please Riot, it's an incredible game from an incredible company, but this lag is ruining it for me. I haven't changed anything on my computer in the last week, so I have no idea what could have started it. I ran a full virus check on my computer, and there was nothing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing it could be a DDOS attack which is an open source way to restrict bandwith without crashing the servers.
