1) Eventually, yes.

2) We will adjust those to new mechanics or wrap them up into similarly-powered stats. Jax utilizes it for gameplay decisions, while on Udyr it's more about the damage reduction and power of it than a gameplay decision. Case-by-case approach.

3) Since this has been the plan, removing dodge (and therefore Nimbleness) is a piece of 1). Nimbleness was a cool mastery - if dodge was staying, we'd have left it.

4) We will be doing something to make this right for players. Details to come, but our plan is specifically about making you guys happy in this regard.

Thank you. On behalf of all Jax players (I main Jax, and I have spoken to Dyrus and Big McLarge Huge as well), I do hope and trust that you will do a rework that will not bring down Jax. An "E" abaility without dodge but with following necessarily included:

1) A magic damage
2) Stun
3) Not long a cooldown

This will be the last and the only wish of all Jax players. And I concede, Jax is more than half of the reason I play this game - not because I win a lot with him (in fact, I lost more playing Jax) but because of the sheer fun he offers to us.

Anyway, thank you, Morello. A player-focused community. You've kept the word.

Well, at least we don't know if it's an "RIP Jax" yet, because who knows if the new Jax is going to be "Hello, I'm back" Jax?

LoL
91 Pages still after JAX nerfed to the ground. Gunblade nerfed to ground.

Riot has a easier way out.

JUST REMOVE JAX FROM THE GAME =]

91 pages for just 1 jax ability i.e sometimes a TANKY DPS misses his AA against JAX.

This is just waste of time, better spend somewhere else.

I see a lot of bad math here. 30% dodge doesn't equal 30% (unmodified) crit.

Without Crit damage modifiers, 30% crit is going to increase your overall damage output over many attacks by 30% (physical damage increased an average of 1.3x)

Dodge reduces all damage auto-attack by 30% (you receive a total of 0.7x all autoattack damage)

What happens when you hit a 30% dodger with 30% crit? 1.3*0.7=91% overall damage. This means 30% dodge is more effective at mitigating damage than 30% crit is at increasing it.

Interesting to note: dodge gains increasing returns from each additional point of dodge, while crit is flat scaling , but multplies with crit damage multipliers.

Example: Going from 90% dodge->91% dodge will reduce additional incoming damage by 10%... going from 0% dodge->1% dodge will reduce additional incoming damage by only 1%. In contrast, armor has decreasing returns on additional armor.

I think dodge an interesting mechanic, but dodge percentages need to be kept in check in order for this effect to be not OP.

wow morello..... congratulations man, i quit this game. been playing for nearly 2 years..... i have no idea where you're going with any of your nerfs. you never listen to players and more often then not do the exact opposite of what they ask under the guise of keeping us happy. I cant do it anymore, the frustration is too much to bear, so thank you for releasing me from the game that had such a grip on my life. best of luck to the rest of you players who put up with this ****, i'm sorry to have paid good money and contributed to the continuation of morello as lead champ designer. goodbye
