Nobody.... You could say trynd... Rammus/singed say Hi... you could argue different people with full builds... Well to get there, for example singed is a great duelist from lvl 5-18 but at a full build he falls off quite a bit.

Tryndamere with cleanse can be super deadly because of his ult, usually will allow him to outlast a lot of champs 1v1, though DoTs can get him after he's gotten the kill. Olaf has a built-in AS increase coupled with his lifesteal ability and ult to remove CC makes him a really strong duelist.

I've taken Tryn on 1v1 and came out with the kill (alive) with plenty of champions. Sure it's really hard to do when he's fed, but it's really hard to do against anyone when they're fed.

Stop looking for such unimportant things. Play the game, use champions you enjoy, and have fun. If you want to get to the very mini maxi .1% calculations, or meta games, strategies, math crafting, etc, then that discussion doesn't belong in the new player forum.

There really isn't a good cut and dry answer to this question, as all the champs have strengths and weaknesses, and is also very dependent on item build and player skill.

If it's an AD champion, Jax all the way. His ability to dodge, stun, and stick to a target, all while putting our massive amounts of damage and becoming tanky put him way ahead of anyone who relies on auto attacking. I love when I'm playing Jax and someone tries to duel me, they really don't have a chance. If it's AP, I'd say Kassadin. His passive soaks up magic damage, the burst he puts out is insane, he has high mobility, and he has the ability to silence his opponent. That's really hard to beat.

@Twang, Yorick wins any long drawn out fight as nobody can out harass or out sustain him. However, in a committed 1v1 he's only so-so. He pops his ult and unless you got in Q range you kite him until his ult ends, and if he's still committed to fighting, you can kill him at that point. If someone tries to engage on him though, yes he's very strong at 1v1ing.
