hi guys, I've been playing Dominion for a while but so far the main champion i've been having problems with is Wukong.

his ultimate is scary and I feel like I can't get away from him because he has a gap closer.. his damage is so high I feel helpless (I usually play ranged DPS)

so I am looking for some tips on how to beat him. every game there is a Wukong he just owns the enemy team (so I like when he's on my team I'm pretty happy lol)

if there are any champions/items/strategies that counter him please tell me.

Ranged DPS have problems against wukong, you have to wait for him to engage your bruisers or tanks, Save your escape mechanism for when he use the gap closer, then kite him.
Save your exhaust/Flash for getting away from that. Then it depends on what DPS. Some can escape, some can kite him. You can't 1v1, but he is not that hard to deal with in 2v2 or bigger.
Having someone to detect stealth including lightbringer helps.

Play champs with hard CC.

Anybody playing on dominion should know not to chase, so if he attacks your bruiser, and you get back, a good wukong will not try to catch you if he doesn't have ghost, flash, or his distance closer readily available. Your best bet is to move around a lot, and confuse the person playing him.

Honestly it depends on the champ and the level of experience with Wukong. That decoy makes for some sneaky initiation, and he hits hard. The thing is though Wukongs have to split their gold between dps items and later defense. While he is a bit beefy later in the game everyone else is too and there are some champs (well timed CC) that will just wreck his charge fast.

Good Heimers, Fizz, and Alistars make me hate life as Wukong.

Wukong is just really, really strong on this map right now.

There is no easy way to deal with him. The only thing I've found effective are champions he can't escape from. Singed, Tryndamere, Rammus, Shaco, Alistar...other generally strong champions he can't really fight and will have a hard time getting away from.

You could try Singed, poison trail is AOE and can hit him even when stealthed. You could even use Adhesive and even if he decoys, he will still be caught in the slow and won't get far. Fling him into your team when you know his decoy or knock-up is on CD.

Bananas. Monkeys love bananas, you'll have him in the palm of your hand.

In seriousness, he's a burst damage assassin with a good escape mechanism. The answer to all champs like him are CC + a face melting.

The other thing to be aware of is the damage output on the other team- if they have a lot of AD, particularly burst AD, you're going to want to pick up some armor. It helps you to survive the initial burst.
