lb has horrible pushing skills, unless she wants to blow her mana on distort > ult to clear waves u shoud pick heroes who can push lane fast so that tower gobbles her gold, morg, cassi, heimerdinger can clear waves fairly quickly, keep in mind if u don't clear the wave fast enuf the next wave wud come and she wud have a big ball of gold in front (not at) her tower and that leaves u in a dangerous situation where u can get ganked.

Honestly, Ryze does fine... a bit later. You need to get a bit further into your Banshee's Veil to survive the burst. Even with MR, it still does a fair amount of HP, so you need to get the catalyst (or at least the red crystal) in addition to your Negatron. Rushing BV after your boots/Tear isn't a bad idea, and if you're really having a bad game, you can get Tear after Catalyst. Play conservative, harass only with your E (bounce off minions to stay well out of range), and farm. As Ryze, you scale far better that LeBlanc. Still a tough lane, but it CAN be done.

Just don't try and be too aggressive against Leblanc, don't try to trade with her. She's frightening in lane but scales very badly, pretty much all you have to do to beat her in lane is farm and not die, and be sharp about calling her missing so teammates don't feed her kills. Easy farming characters like Cass, Malz or Galio work fine. Magic resist blues are decent for mid lane, preventing her from doing true damage to you once she gets Sorc shoes, but that really goes for any mid not just Leblanc. You could even open null magic mantle though I wouldn't recommend it if it's going to trash your build; the last time I did it was playing as Galio where I went into lane at level 1 with 73 MR, and that was building into Merc Treads. Honestly I think alot of it's in the mindset, if you realise that you just need to farm and outscale her it's generally pretty easy (I haven't played against many reallly good Leblancs), but if you try and go for the throat you'll usually come out worse during the laning phase. Just accept that you're weaker at that point and look forward to your stronger mid to lategame.

Well from playing the game a good bit of time I learned that I, personally, can counter LeBlanc with Brand or Xerath. The CC and Damage is about as good as hers if you can get your stun off before she manages to burst you down fast enough.

Galio...can actually survive lb...and push her to tower at the same time.

Morg shuts her down fairly hard, that spell shield just wrecks her, the sustain and push makes her sad face, and the sheer amount of health makes her hard to burst down.

Same can be sad of Kassadin obvious, minus the sustain and push.

Talon wrecks every glass cannon AP mid incredibly hard, and LB is no exception.

Galio... Galio works. dunno what the guy above was saying.

Sion works if playing AP.

Nunu might work if you're good. I doubt the ulti will hit, but Consume+ iceball will make her life hard.

Cho Gath can be suprising effective if played right

Fizz can dodge her combo by becoming untargetable, vlad the same, and both can take large chunks out of her health.

Hit Points counter her mid lane. In the position of playing ryze, you would want to rush your Catalyst. Her entire burst on someone without defensive masteries or runes(which i would suggest by the way) Would not be able to kill you straight up from full to zero. That being said watch out when you are about at 60% Hp. Thats prime time for LB to pounce.

your ideal manuever was Catalyst into early Banshee Veil. Up until that point you should play passively.

1. Boots 3 pot
2. Catalyst
3. Banshee
4. Tear
5. Merc tread
6. More MR if she hasn't started to drop off yet, otherwise grab Glacial shroud and work towards your Frozen heart
7. Will of the Ancients

Then perhaps finish archangels and you should be able to handle her mid pretty well. If you can just survive her burst, you can play off of spell vamp to not die.
