AD is better because its more consistent from beginning to end. AP is completely trash until you get lichbane+deathcap (15-20min mark) which i feel is too heavy an investment even if it makes ezreal the best AP in the game.

I'm very skeptical on how this would work. Why grab Tiamat at all if you're going AP? Even other on-hit effects like Lich Bane I don't recall even being transferred to Tiamat's splash effect. I could be wrong, but I'm curious about it.

Personally I dislike AP Ezreal, though most people I've encountered complain for me to go Hybrid for some awful reason. Not that it wouldn't be good, but I feel as if people have a big misunderstanding as to why one would ever think to go Hybrid.

I usually stick with AD. I've done AP and even Hybrid before, but as others have said, for AP anyway it takes a bit to get going; and to keep going you need to be really fed considering earlier you'll be fairly weak in comparison to AD.

I am just referring to AP ez going bot lane (for some reason)

and tiamats does work because tiamats does a % of damage you dealt to target in an aoe

so since lichbane makes you do more total damage to your target, then the % splashed will be increased

and since Ez's Q applies on-hit effects, then it will use both tiamats and lichbane's on-hit effects, I tried it before

Tiamat does a % of your attack damage. Nuff said

AP Ez blows.

Until they fix his mana issues, he'll always suck, as he's forced into getting lots of mana regen items or archangels.

Ezreal, himself, had suggested fixes, but since AD Ezreal was in a "good" spot, it never happened.

Quite franky, I think that's about the lamest excuse out there, since all the changes Ezreal proposed only added, what, maybe 5 late game damage to AD Ez, but would have made AP Ez decently viable.

I don't get it.

AP ez. Lichbane -> rylais -> deathcap, with either cooldown or sorc boots in there somewhere.

Fox, i hope you realize that the only reason AP ez isn't "viable" in SR is because he can't get the gold he needs. In dominion, he has all the gold he could ever want.

I played AD Ezreal a few times, he's pretty fun at poking alright.

been trying hybrid lately. start with ad items since theyre more useful early. brutalizer, bilgewater cutlass, then start adding some AP with rageblade and finishing gunblade. building a phage early or a crystal scepter good too for the kite.
