(Also, about EncasedShadows quote, you forgot to add RiotPi's quote there. That one says that 'low level stuff' are warnings and all other suspensions are 'high level stuff')
Ambassodors don't work for riot. And anyone who says that they review cases are old. It has been confirmed multiple times that riot does not review every suspension anymore. Any other posts are OLD. ORIGINALLY THEY DID to make sure tribunal worked, but they do not now.

Also the ambassador has several incorrect statements.

The only red posts i have ever seen that state plain as day that they "review every single suspension/punishment"

Have either been

A. Old posts
B. Ambassadors.

And if that be the case. Why do so many riot employees also say that they DONT. Clearly they are just as confused.

Stopped reading when you said you "know" you are reported in 75% of games.

You don't know ****. You're making up facts to bolster your argument. Stop wasting the time of anyone who reads this topic.

That was more of my "opinion" on the matter, skip ahead a bit so you can see the facts that come straight from riot.

just want to say im either incredibly lucky or havent played enough games, cause while im sure ive been reported, I've never been banned, suspended or warned yet i have thousands of games played.

Also, this is bull****

1. You only get punished if you deserve it.

In a perfect world, this statement would be true. However, i know that i am reported in probably 75% of the games i play, and in 90% of those i don't say a word beyond "mia, dragon, baron. etc." Why am i reported? Who knows? Maybe because i didn't play the way the wanted, or i died one to many times, or i didn't "help the team enough" but i know that i am. How do i know? Because the people tell me, and boy do they love to tell me that they are going to report me for "not calling mia soon enough" even though i pinged a good 20 seconds before they were ganked.

Again, thousands of games played and most of the time I barely say anything at all, and more importantly i dont respond to the trolls trying to make me say something that they can report me for. I dont even remember the last time I was told I was gonna get reported.

As far as the mistrial thing, thats in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty. Riot has no such laws and in fact it is your PRIVILEGE to play this FREE game. Riot owes you nothing, not even a fair trial.

Edit: after skimming through the rest of it I realize that this is all assumption and no fact, you are attempting to bend the words of riot employees to suit your point (e.g. the part about the low-level automation, which i would like to point out doesnt include the more serious, bannable or suspendable offenses as he goes on to say)

Actually this statement is somewhat false. A court case a while back happened when someone was banned from WoW for cussing people out constantly. He sued blizzard because they banned him for cussing, something which is protected under the first amendment.

Something like this would be similar with riot. Fair trial is a constitutional right, denying it, while being a very grey area, is technically violated that right.

While I agree there are kinks in the system, I think they are overstated. And this is a new system, so hopefully these will be resolved over time.

I see tons of people come on to the forums and complain about an unjust ban. Most of the time, you can tell from the way they post that they are actually a jerk that deserved the ban. Sometimes this is not the case, and the person appears to be a nice person screwed by the system... but ever time I see a Riot employee respond (even to the nicer ones), there have been clearly outlined definitive reasons for why they are not allowed to play.

I play this game a lot, and I am a nice person in games consistently. I have never had a warning or a ban. My friends are the same way, and they have never had a warning or ban either. I know that this is only anecdotal but it seems bizarre to me that ALL of my friends would be the exception to the rule.

I have a one week old ticket that confirms that all suspensions (except for warnings) are being reviewed by Riot.

Greetings from the Dusky Trail, I'm EncasedShadow and I've been summoned to assist you.

Yes, currently we are reviewing cases at every level of suspension, as well as conducting frequent audits on the system as a whole. Only the warnings are automated, though again, we spot check these cases to ensure accuracy. We may adjust our automation in the future, but for now these are still being done manually.

Stay healthy!

I can make a screenshot if you don't trust me, but I honestly doubt it would be worth the effort.

For the record, we do work for Riot as a part of the Player Support and Community departments.

Also, the tribunal system is regularly audited by a special team within Riot.

What does the audit include? Judgments made by the player community are compared to judgments made by Rioters. What do we find? The player community is actually more likely to pardon offenses that would otherwise have been punished by a member of Riot.

So far, our audits have not revealed players who were unjustly suspended by the system. And in fact, every time a player comes to these boards complaining their suspension was unfair it requires little work to look up their account and see the long list of Summoner's Code violations they've participated in.

This isn't to say the Tribunal is a done deal. There are a lot of improvements we feel we can make, however; overall we're very satisfied with the community moderated system we've developed.

Being protected by the first amendment refers to what the government is allowed to do with regards to censorship. The first amendment is irrelevent when discussing business practices because it does not relate to private property (and yes, servers are private property)

For instance, you can't go into a McDonalds and start yelling at all their customers simply because you have freedom of speech. You will get kicked out. Same goes for League of Legends.
