I currently have Graves ranked 33rd. Not a bad spot, but not a high priority pick.

I think graves himself is pretty strong... He has some strong AD spells and can be played as an AD caster.

He's not Vayne.

Not as strong on Dominion as Vayne or Kog, therefore never gets picked unless they're both banned. He's crazy strong on SR because his passive gives him a huge advantage in early laning and he has insane burst power at level 6, often enough to auto-kill someone in his lane with E-Q-R. He's still good in Dominion since the nearly unlimited mana really helps him, but his burst power isn't quite as notable when lots of champions can do it.

I've never lost bot as Graves, just FYI.
I think he is EASILY as viable as Vayne and Kog. His burst allows him to push people off points, his mobility lets him kite the melee's, he gets innate tankiness in a game that's all about holding a point until help arrives.
His ult is an extremely long range interrupt, and his Q is strong AoE also for interrupting. Vayne can't interrupt an entire team capping, Graves and kog can.

He's not as strong as Kog in MOST situations, but is stronger than vayne. Kog is better against teams with melee/short range heroes that lack distance closers. Graves can deal better with teams that have things like Xin Zhao in them.

People whine about Yorick, but Graves can handle him bot lane because of his burst, unlike Vayne.

yea graves is solid. probably the 2nd or 3rd best in his class in dominion, vayne being the first.
