Anyone else notice how the 450 riot points riot gave to "nice" summoners was just enough to be short of getting any of the skins/champs that are any good?

If you noticed, they had 75% off sale, but you can only pay $5 at least
followed by the 300 RP bonus WITH a purchase, self explanatory
followed by a free 450 RP, even though typical sale items are 487 RP, making people with 0 RP spend money to use their "gift"

In reverse order, that could be considered generous, but they're just trying to get people who are stingy start the cycle of buying.

they're trying to reward their loyal customers, and if some of the free players feel inclined to make a purchase because of the rp they got, that's great for the company too. they did something nice and you're making it out to be some devious ploy to fleece you of your money.
