Yeah if only LoL had ranked for the first 2 years it existed. It might have become one of the most popular online games in the world.

I'm not against ranked, I want ranked, but you just realize that after reading too many SR tribunal cases

Dont really want those playing here.

Depends. How much competition did SR have when it was unranked? By that, I mean how much within the game itself? Right now, there is ranked SR and ranked TT, so it feels like Dom is left out. I think a lot of players are playing SR purely because it has solo queue. So if they leave ranked out of Dom long enough, some are afraid that it will lose its remaining playerbase, which is its only case for ranked.

I agree with you (hence why I'm here in this forum in the first place), but never doubt the power of e-peen. Everyone wants to show off. MMOs especially thrive on this. I've burnt countless hours on MMOs, and I can't say that grinding dungeons or going on raids was really ever fun. It was just the sense of accomplishment at the end of it all.
