So, it might seem like a noob question, but think about it. Lately I'm bouncing between 950-1150 and it seems like my demise is every time a tryn takes solotop on the enemy team. Face checks the turret at 6 pops ult then q and then heal and walks away. He snowballs hard, my team loses to getting 3 hit by a tryn 3 levels above everyone. I've tried conventional counter champs but ever since the dodge stat has been removed I lose every lane against him.

If someone could help me with some suggestions I'd appreciate it thanks!


Oh... and stacking armor doesn't help.

Sorry add-on I can manage him sometimes with irelia, but 90% of the time I have more health than him so my stun is useless.

stacking armor is how you counter him, so by saying that doesn't help there are no other options.

he just buys a lw.

Harrass hard + harrass early is my advice (buy wriggles asap) and try to keep him low and use his rage to heal.

Like Kensai said, harass hard and early before he really gets and of his damage, Exhaust works wonders against him as well.

Harrass him hard when he does not have any fury. Avoid fighting him when he has a lot of it.

Pick a strong harrasser, like Kennen or Gangplank and stomp on him early before he reaches lvl 6. Eventually (if he's smart) he'll get a wriggles and it will be hard to keep pressuring him, but this is going to be your best bet. But if you pick someone like Nasus, you're going to get stomped.

edit - bring exhaust or ignite as well. Exhaust will let you tank him when he ults, ignite you can use to ensure he can't survive after said ult. Either will work well.

this is hard to do, but a lot of fighting vs trynd comes down to positioning and timing. you must save stuns and slows for when he attacks you. you must aim to face him when he is going to slow you. dont forget, his slow lowers your AD, so wait till it ends to fight. Teemo is a good hard counter to trynd. Voli does well too if you know how to use him. (personal prefs, there are others who are good too)
you MUST run ignite and or exhaust - THESE ARE KEY COUNTERS to trynd. I cannot stress this enough. Exhaust is to stop his dmg on you, or a team mate.
Iginite is for finishing him off when his rage is almost done. dont do it too soon!

Malphite solo top is a very hard counter to tryn because of the fact that your E handicaps his AS 50%! Also when you get a frozen heart + E you're pretty much unstoppable. Basically in lane you just Q him and if he tries to run into you just E and run away. There's nothing he can do about it.

Start with 2 dorans into sorc shoes then get a frozen heart

GP or Rumble maybe, any range tbh shuts his early game down.
